We are mothers.
Here you will find the support you have been looking for. The bottom line is you are not alone. There are many mothers in the same situation as you are right now. We have the maternal instinct to protect our children and the courts don't see the pain they are causing to our families. Not a day goes by that we don't feel lost with our children. We are looking for mothers across the state to seek support from one another and gain new friendships in a positive environment. Our hearts break for the children that are caught in the cross fire of the system. They are not given the opportunity to experience all the love we have to give them. We miss out on the holidays and birthdays. We long to hear I love you instead we hear the crushing blow of I hate you, leave me alone, or I wish you would die.
Some children are legally kidnapped from fit and loving parents by the state. The agency claims to follow through on "Whats in the best interest of the child" You are left at a loss to understand why this is happening. You automatically think there are hundreds of children that are truly abused and never leave that environment. You are not alone.
In the end we are all mothers who love our children. We want to watch them grow and teach them the rights and wrongs in life. We struggle everyday trying to find out where we fit in society. We are not monsters, yet society judges us as horrible. The stigma placed on non custodial mothers is heart wrenching and bias. Some mothers have a hard time even talking to others about their situation because of the added shame that is placed in public opinion. You no longer have to hide in shame. We have done nothing wrong but love our children and want to share everyday with them in our arms.
